Suite 3: Musical Pallet (For Orchestra)

Suite 1: Animal Kingdom (For Orchestra)
The Connecticut Suite (18 y/o)
Suite 14: Choral Works II (Choir)
Suite 20: Musical Theatre Piano (Solo)

What is posted here is the material that has been remastered so far. It basically represents beginning stuff, but will expand over time as I am able to complete the conversion process. MySpace and YouTube contain pieces from the prior generation software and thus offer a deeper listening experience. My website also posts everything, both old and new, with new replacing old as the work is completed.

There are now 138 original works, which are being remastered for two concerns, or 276 scores in all. In this process I have developed a numerical catalog system, basically to help score people find what they are looking for. If you are a die hard pop guy, I know this irritates you a bit. This isn't Kansas anymore. And if you are a conservatory guy, this probably irritates you too, because this isn't real true to form logically illogical stuff here either. Forgive me on both counts. Hang in there with me. Just trying to sell a few scores.

To my larger fan base, ninty percent of whom do not use English as their primary language ... Q Pasa! I will write to you and send out more international letters when all the dust settles. I love languages. Finally, to my ReverbNation friends, I miss you too. Just be patient with me. Let me finish this project up first. I'll be around. No problems. I got your back.

This playlist contains a nice variety of my work. It is not pure classical and it is not pop, so what is it? Both. My primary influence was Broadway. I also love classical, but have trouble relating to our present day logically illogical structures. For me, I like melody, in instrumental format, thus a hybrid, something that I call classical pops. I would love to write more formal work, but I only have a pinch of formal training, so I have been writing these shorter pieces in an effort to just teach myself composition. Every invention is an exercise. I also explore different genres, to build rhythm awareness, and then develop little collectives that I call suites.

In my youth I pursued both classical and pops off and on for about three to four years. But then I elected business in college and worked in accounting for 32 years, doing nothing in music this whole period. When I retired, however, I began to tinker around with writing again as a hobby. I started out by notating the 16 songs that I had written as a boy, then went on to write 122 new works.

In the beginning I began notating music using easy programs, but gradually added more advanced software as I learned. This year I am trying to consolidate everything under one roof using Sibelius 7. I am also writing everything in piano and guitar for students. If you are a larger performing body or a student, I want to point you to my angel looking website link (Reverb) or the world globe link (Facebook) where you will find organized pathways to both full blown performance scores as well as all of the piano/guitar scores.

Primary Compilation Albums

MAGNIFICAT SONNETS SAMPLE ALBUM

21 Titles - One From Each Suite

EARLY WORKS ALBUM

16 Titles - A Boy Wrote This

PIANO RENDITIONS COMPILATION

30 Titles - Random Selections

A compilation album to me just means that these are playlists of the orignal work, not the orginal albums as the came out. The whole idea here is to let you feel out the work as a whole. Complation albums represent pretty strong material. The Early Works playlist had random genres even at that  stage.
